h2Architecture: H2 Architecture was established in April 2004 by the husband and wife team – Mark and Polly Hillier. Mark qualified as an Architect in 1992 and Polly, as an Architectural Technologist in 1986. Their combined architectural experience includes periods working in Africa, Sri Lanka, China and Hong Kong, before they settled in London where they have both been practising for the last 11 years. This experience has included a variety of building types and scales ranging from small private commissions to complex public facilities and the master planning of entire districts. H2 Architecture sets out to provide a ‘tailored’ solution to all projects by taking time to examine the existing situation. To understand the motivation behind each commission, we look to go beyond the immediate requirements and maximise the potential that each project possesses. Models, sketches and scaled drawings communicate the design development of the project to the Client throughout its evolution and ensures that the finished product is in line with their expectations. H2 Architecture has established strong links with associated disciplines, including Structural Engineers, Environmental Engineers, Interior Designers, Furniture Designers/Manufactures, Landscape Architects and Builders. This allows us to tailor our product to provide as little or as much of a service as necessary, from initial design ideas to the finished product.
